Prices for Dodge's new mid-sized SUV, the Nitro, will start at $19,885, including shipping.
The 2007 Nitro will be available in three trim levels: SXT, SLT and R/T. Sales begin in October.
The SXT will come with a 210-hp 3.7-liter V-6 engine with a six-speed manual transmission. The base 4x2 will start at $19,885, and the 4x4 will start at $21,395.
The SLT will come with a 210-hp 3.7-liter V-6 with a four-speed automatic transmission. The 4x2 will start at $23,295, and the 4x4 will be $24,805.
The R/T model will come with a 255-hp, 4.0-liter V-6 and a five-speed automatic transmission. The 4x2 will start at $25,970, and the 4x4 will be priced at $27,630.
All prices include $660 shipping.
Standard features on all models include a fold-flat first-row passenger seat and second-row seats, electronic stability program, antilock brakes, side curtain airbags and electronic roll mitigation.
Optional features include heated seats and a DVD navigation system.
The Nitro is built at the Toledo North plant in Toledo, Ohio, and is based on the Jeep Liberty platform.
