Experian Automotive will provide customers of Porsche Cars North America Inc. with vehicle history information for the automaker's certified-used vehicle program.
Porsche's 200 dealers in North America will get Experian's AutoCheck report for their certified-used vehicles. The report tells dealers and buyers whether a vehicle has issues, such as a previous crash, flood damage or an odometer rollback.
Experian also will provide Porsche with its AutoCount report, which uses state department of motor vehicles data on new and used vehicles to track sales performance and trends in individual markets.
Through June, Porsche's certified-used vehicle sales totaled 3,087 vehicles, up 9.1 percent compared with the same period last year.
