To the Editor:
I enjoyed Richard Truett's July 3 Comment column about Coventry, the onetime Detroit of England. Great article. It was accurate and with just the right flavor.
I should know: My last car as a Brit, before spending most of my career in Detroit, was a Sunbeam Talbot Sportsman's saloon.
Just one thing, though. You don't have to be a certified car nut to go to Coventry; it's Shakespeare country, and outside the city is beautiful.
