DETROIT -- Pardus Capital Management LP acquired 748,100 shares of Visteon Corp. stock last week. That brings its stake in the supplier to about 11 percent, according to filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Visteon shares were trading at between $6.67 and $6.95 a share at the time of the purchase.
Pardus, a New York investment firm, now owns about 14.3 million shares of Visteon stock. It also has a stake in Bally Total Fitness Holding Corp.
Visteon, the former Ford Motor Co. parts unit, restructured last year with Ford's assistance.
