DETROIT -- Supplier Noble International Ltd. said Joseph Day has been elected to its board. His election restores the board to its full complement of seven members, the company said in a press release.
Day is the retired CEO of Freudenberg-NOK of Plymouth, Mich. The company makes oil seals, vibration-control products and other components. Day has sat on several other boards over the years, including American Sunroof Corp., A.G. Simpson Co. Ltd. and Applied Extrusion Technologies. He was the founding chairman of the Original Equipment Suppliers Association.
Noble, of Warren, Mich., makes tailored laser-welded blanks and tubes for the auto industry in North America and Australia.
