DETROIT -- The Chrysler group has raised sticker prices $100 on all but a few 2006 cars and light trucks. The boost averaged $93 on the entire fleet of Chryslers, Dodges and Jeeps.
Excluded from the increase were the Dodge Viper coupe and convertible and the SRT8 Hemi-engine models of the Chrysler 300, Dodge Magnum and Dodge Charger.
This is the Chrysler group's fourth price increase of the 2006 model year. Automotive News estimates sticker prices have gone up an average of $542, or 1.8 percent, for the model year.
