DETROIT - Lincoln Mercury is pushing special "sign and drive" lease deals that require no upfront payments. The promotion, which started Friday, runs through April. No down payment, security deposit or first-month payment is required, company spokesman Jim Cain said.
All Lincoln Mercury nameplates are eligible, but the Lincoln Zephyr sedan and Mercury Mariner crossover will be promoted most prominently, Cain said. The Mariner lease starts at $279 a month for 39 months. The Zephyr lease starts at $364 a month for 39 months.
Ads will run nationally in newspapers, on cable and network TV and on the Internet.
