General Motors built its last vehicle at its Oklahoma City assembly plant on Monday, Feb. 20.
The plant, which opened in 1979, had built the Chevrolet TrailBlazer EXT, GMC Envoy XL and Isuzu Ascender EXT since 2002. An estimated 521,400 of these trucks were produced.
Over the years the plant also built the Chevrolet Citation and Malibu; Buick Celebrity and Century; Pontiac Phoenix and 6000; and Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera.
