The Automotive Hall of Fame gave Distinguished Service Citations to seven people who have served the auto industry well. The seven were honored at a luncheon last week at the National Automobile Dealers Association convention in Orlando, Fla. Honorees were, from left: Alfred Gaspar, president emeritus of the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association; Thomas Elliott, retired executive vice president of American Honda; John K. Teahen Jr., senior editor of Automotive News; Sue Unger, chief information officer at DaimlerChrysler; and Ralph Seekins, president of Seekins Ford-Lincoln-Mercury in Fairbanks, Alaska. Julie Brown, CEO of Plastech Engineered Products, and Lloyd Reuss, former General Motors president, were not present.
