To the Editor:
It is my opinion that paying finance incentives to influence F&I managers to send business to a specific finance contract-buying institution is corruption ("Greasing the wheels," Jan. 23).
How many corporate people and public employees are in jail now for receiving gifts or kickbacks from suppliers? Remember, there is no such thing as a little bit pregnant. Either you are clean in your business dealing, or you are corrupt. Nothing else will do. No excuses are possible. Dealers have enough image problems without this avoidable one.
