DETROIT -- The Chrysler group is changing key marketing executives as it faces challenges such as expanding Jeep's range and establishing Dodge in Europe.
Jeff Bell, 44, vice president of global Chrysler and Jeep marketing, will leave that post Feb. 1 to become vice president of product strategy, the company said Friday, Jan. 20.
In his new post, Bell reports to Eric Ridenour, Chrysler COO.
Bell's move was the second major change in Chrysler marketing last week. Julie Roehm, 35, Chrysler's director of marketing communications, left the company to join Wal-Mart.
Bell and Roehm are former Ford Motor Co. marketers.
