Production of the Rolls-Royce Phantom convertible will begin in early 2007, says Ian Robertson, CEO of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
The superluxury convertible will be produced using an undisclosed convertible roof supplier at the automaker's factory in Goodwood, England.
Rolls-Royce has not determined what percentage of Phantoms will be convertibles, Robertson told Automotive News.
Pricing will be higher than the sedan version. The 2006 Phantom sedan costs more than $325,000, including shipping.
