DETROIT -- Saturn's 440 U.S. dealerships will switch to a Reynolds and Reynolds Co. computer system starting in 2007.
The Reynolds system will replace the existing dealer management system from ADP Dealer Services of Hoffman Estates, Ill.
Neither GM nor Reynolds, which is in Dayton, Ohio, would reveal the value of the deal, but "440 dealers is a significant business contract for us -- it's a big deal," Reynolds CEO Finbarr O'Neill told Automotive News.
An ADP spokesman said the company is disappointed with the decision but will continue to support the dealerships until the conversion to Reynolds is complete in 2008.
