SAN FRANCISCO -- Parts supplier Dura Automotive Systems Inc. said Scott Rued resigned as chairman and director and is being replaced by CEO Larry Denton.
Dura said Rued's resignation had been planned for May 2006, but Rued left early "due to other pressing business commitments." Rued had been chairman since April 2002.
Dura, of Rochester Hills, Mich., makes driver controls and door modules. It ranks No. 54 on the Automotive News list of the top 100 global suppliers with worldwide original-equipment automotive parts sales of $2.49 billion in 2004.
