DETROIT -- Visteon Corp. blamed two former nonexecutive finance employees for errors over the past three years that could deepen losses by a combined $65 million to $80 million.
The company said that certain expenses for freight, raw materials and other supplier costs originating in North America that should have been recorded in periods prior to Dec. 31, 2004, were recorded later. The Van Buren Township, Mich., company said management continues to analyze its financial controls. Visteon did not identify the two employees.
