This year's Tokyo auto show is the stage where Nissan gives a look at some of the products that make up its next product offensive. Here's a preview:
GT-R -- Nissan won't say which badge, Nissan or Infiniti, will be put on the GT-R sports car. It is expected in the 2008 model year.
Amenio -- Don't say minivan: Nissan calls the three-row, six-seat concept a "multi-people carrier." The front passenger's seat and the second-row seats slide and recline electrically and offer stowaway leg rests. The seats use red leather, like sofas in a living room. Meanwhile, rosewood, an element of traditional Japanese architecture, is used on the instrument panel. The roof infuses outside light into the cabin.
Note -- The concept looks like a Scion fighter. Inspired by Adidas, Nissan designers considered the attachment young adults have for sportswear. Customers can change the surface treatment on the front and rear bumpers.
Foria -- The front-engine, rear-drive layout creates a short front overhang, long hood and compact cabin. No B-pillar makes it easy to get in and out of the rear seats.
