DETROIT -- GKN Automotive Inc. will supply new torque-sensing driveline technology for the 2006 Mini Cooper S.
The technology, GKN's Super Limited Slip Differential, eliminates traction problems and adds responsiveness. It will be available on models in the United States and Europe. GKN says this is the first use of its technology.
GKN, of Auburn Hills, Mich., supplies constant velocity products, powdered metal components and tractions systems.
