Just wanted to tell you how wonderful I am feeling after reading your story on Gianni Cabiglio, your latest 15-year-old Automotive News fan.
I was once a lazy 12-year-old who was stung by that same bug, and your newspaper was the reason. My father was a director with ADP's Dealer Services Division and for obvious reasons was a subscriber to your paper. I recall visiting his office one day and taking home a few old copies for fun. Well, that moment spurred a passion for this industry that burns even brighter this very day.
Friday became my favorite as that was the day Dad brought home his most recent copy. I would not leave the couch until I had read every word, analyzed every spy photo, and memorized the names and roles of all of the "players." Little did I know that I was setting the seeds for my future success.
Thank you for this great newspaper and these great memories as they have now combined to fuel a great career. Hold on tight, young Gianni some passions are meant to never fade away.
