DETROIT -- Volkswagen has reassigned its U.S. brand chief, Len Hunt, to run sales and marketing for Bentley Motors Group in England. Bentley's current sales and marketing chief, Adrian Hallmark, will replace Hunt in the U.S. post, VW said Friday.
Hunt, 49, has been executive director of VW since March 2004. Hallmark, 43, takes responsibility for all of VW's business in the United States and Canada.
Hallmark joined Bentley in 1999 and is a member of the board for sales and marketing. He previously was managing director of Porsche Cars GB.
VW has struggled with sluggish sales as it launches new versions of the Jetta and Passat this year. Last week Hunt dumped the advertising agency Arnold Worldwide and replaced it with Crispin Porter + Bogusky.
