DETROIT -- Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. Inc. raised the prices on its luxury Lexus models for the 2006 model year, including a $1,780 increase on the SC 430 coupe.
The 2006 SC 430 gets new exterior features, including a modified grille and bumper. It also features active headlights that adapt to the car's turns. It starts at $66,005, which is 2.8 percent more than last year.
A special trim level, called the Pebble Beach package, will cost an extra $2,000. It includes camel-leather interior, special exterior paint and Pebble Beach emblems. There will be 500 available for the United States.
Lexus also said the price of the entry-level ES 330 sedan rose $125 to $32,950. A top trim level, called the Black Diamond edition, costs an extra $600 for special paint and trim.
The brand's mid-sized SUV, the GX 470, increased $310 to $47,185. The RX 330 SUV starts at $37,020 for a front-wheel-drive model, up $345.
The LX 470 SUV gains $300 for a base price of $67,945.
