Philip Waring will become Mazda's vice president of sales for Europe on August 1.
Waring, 48, currently is Mazda UK's managing director. He replaces James Muir, who became CEO of the Japanese automaker's European division July 1.
In other moves at Mazda, Jiro Maebayashi will be vice president of Mazda's European research and development center in Oberursel, near Frankfurt.
Maebayashi, is currently general manager of Mazda's design department at the automaker's headquarters in Hiro-shima, Japan.
He replaces Kiyoshi Fujiwara who moves to Hiroshima as general manager of Mazda's product planning and business strategy division.
Rob Lindley, 39, will become Mazda's UK managing director. He is currently UK sales director.
