FREDERICK, Md. -- The National Auto Auction Association has formed two task forces.
The Auction Industry Survey Task Force is charged with improving the accuracy of the data compiled for the association's annual survey report. It is headed by Larry Tribble, owner of Southern Auto Auction in East Windsor, Conn.
The Strategic Planning Task Force will identify issues and concerns for the association to address. It will make recommendations to Tom Caruso, the association's next
president. Ray Nichols, owner of Bel Air Auto Auction in Bel Air, Md., will head the task force.
Caruso is regional vice president of ADESA Boston. He will become
president of the auction group in September. He succeeds Jim DesRochers, general manager of Manheim's Bay Cities Auto Auction in Hayward, Calif.
