DETROIT -- Visteon Corp. has reached a tentative agreement on a new contract with hourly workers at one of its largest factories - the Connersville, Ind., Visteon Systems plant.
The Van Buren Township, Mich., supplier will not release details of the agreement until after a ratification vote, which is scheduled for July 21.
The current contract expired June 30.
About 1,380 hourly workers produce radiators, condensers and evaporators at the plant.
The workers are represented by Local 919 of the International Union of Electronic, Electrical, Salaried, Machine and Furniture Workers-Communications Workers of America (IUE-CWA).
