FRANKFURT (Reuters) -- German sports goods firm Adidas will launch a top-end collection with luxury carmaker Porsche in 2007, it said on Monday.
Under a long-term deal with Porsche's accessories business, Adidas will make shoes, apparel and equipment for golf, tennis and running, featuring the Porsche and Adidas logos, it said in a statement.
A spokesman declined to comment on financial details.
Porsche Design, which sells accessories through its own stores worldwide, has similar contracts with other companies.
Among its products are toasters made in cooperation with Siemens and Rodenstock spectacles carrying both firms' logos.
Sports goods firms and fashion houses often try to boost brand awareness and sales by adding collections in cooperation with well-known brands.
