SAN FRANCISCO -- The fiercely competitive pickup segment is prompting Chevrolet to put a fresh face on its 2006 Silverado, even though it will introduce an extensively re-engineered and restyled version for the 2007 model year.
"You are going to see a new grille treatment that gives it a little bit bolder front end," said Edward Peper Jr., Chevrolet's general marketing manager.
"We will have some new advertising that supports it that will be very clever, very creative," Peper said at a press event here. No other details were given.
