NEW YORK -- Auto parts supplier TRW Automotive Holdings Corp. said on Monday it has formed a joint venture with China South Industries Group to make advanced braking and steering systems for China's automotive market.
TRW and China South will hold equal ownership of the joint venture. TRW did not give a value for the deal.
TRW, of Livonia, Mich., which established its first Chinese joint venture in 1994, now has interests in 10 manufacturing operations in the country.
China South produces 3 million motorcycles and 200,000 cars each year.
