Rolls-Royce Motors Cars North America is losing the executive who relaunched the luxury brand under BMW ownership three years ago.
James Selwa, 53, will run Fiats Maserati brand in North America. Selwa was tapped by former BMW executive and Rolls-Royce chief Karl-Heinz Kalbfell.
Kalbfell became CEO of Alfa Romeo in January and took over Maserati in February. He has said he would recruit several seasoned auto executives from outside the company to run the brands sales and marketing operations.
Maserati was reintroduced in the US in 2002.
Last year the US accounted for 1,055 of the brands global 4,600 sales.
