Bob Cosmai: You needn't be a rock star to have an Entourage.
Cosmai revealed the name at the Automotive News Marketing Seminar in Los Angeles last week.
The Entourage, a platform twin of the Kia Sedona minivan, will be powered by a 3.8-liter V-6 engine likely to have about 265 hp. The minivan will be offered only in a long-wheelbase version. Electronic stability control, traction control and antilock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution will be standard.
Also standard are six airbags, including side curtain airbags for all three rows of passengers. The third row of seats will fold flat into the floor.
The Entourage is part of a seven-product barrage that began last fall with the Tucson SUV and runs through next fall.
Other new products are the just-launched Sonata redesign and redesigns of the Accent, Elantra, Santa Fe and XG 350, which will be renamed the Azera.
A rear-drive entry luxury sedan will be sold in the United States in 2007.
