Dodge is the exclusive automotive sponsor of a six-week miniseries on Turner Network Television, "Into the West." Dodge will use its sponsorship of the show, which premieres this week, to promote the new Charger.
The Turner cable network will include the Dodge logo in its print, online and TV advertising of the show. Terms were not disclosed.
"Into the West" has a target audience of ages 18 to 54, the network says. It tells the story of the settlement by whites of the American West.
The series, which is produced by Steven Spielberg, premieres Friday, June 10.
The 2006 Charger arrived in dealerships last month.
Dodge identifies the car's target buyers as 65 percent male, ages 40 through 59, with annual incomes of $65,000 to $90,000. The base-model Charger SE has a sticker price of $22,995, including freight.
Dodge began TV commercials for the car in May.
