A fire department in northwest England leased 20 Smart ForTwo minicars as part of a campaign to make the local public more fire-protection conscious.
The Cheshire Fire Service painted two of the cars to look like miniature UK fire engines. The others carry the slogan “Be smart, be safe.”
Says Cheshire Fire Chief Chris Turnock: “Our Smart fleet is high-profile, economical, practical for urban driving and ideal for capturing the public’s attention.”
