A passionate gardener, Bibiana Boerio is trying to get to the root of Jaguars problems.
Although parent Ford Motor Co. doesnt break out brand numbers individually, Jaguar accounted for much of the $740 million (about E570 million) that Fords Premier Automotive Group lost in 2004.
Since arriving last summer as Jaguars managing director, Boerio has been using her financial and marketing expertise to try to make the brand profitable.
This isnt Boerios first assignment at Jaguars headquarters in Browns Lane, England. She was Jaguar finance director between 1995 and 2000. After that assignment, she moved to the US to be executive vice president and chief financial officer of Ford Motor Credit in Dearborn, Michigan. She then worked as Fords chief of finance and strategy.
A driving enthusiast, Boerio likes to spend her weekends cruising around the English countryside in one of her Jaguars discovering new places.
