What the heck is General Motors thinking? In a positive move, CEO Rick Wagoner moves out two senior executives for lack of performance and then, sadly, brings back its worst promotion of all time, Hot Button. Is that a joke?
GM builds great trucks, and Cadillac is now a world-class car, but what about the Buick Terraza/Chevrolet Uplander/Pontiac Montana SV6? Did GM say, "Let's take a 10-year-old minivan that didn't sell to anyone but rental companies, change the front end, call it a sport activity vehicle (or whatever), and list it for $30,000"?
Has the world's largest auto manufacturer lost its mind? Sorry I'm venting, but GM dealers and customers are very loyal. They deserve better.
