Ken Levy, the former communications chief for the Chrysler group, has joined public relations agency AutoCom Associates of Bloomfield Hills, Mich.
Levy, 56, will be a senior partner and president of international operations for the agency. He is based in New York City. His role is to develop business and serve clients in the European and Asian regions.
Levy was named public relations chief at the Chrysler group in November 2000 in the wake of a management shakeup that marked the arrival of Dieter Zetsche as CEO and Wolfgang Bernhard at COO. Levy had been a top public relations executive for General Motors in Zurich, Switzerland.
Jason Vines replaced Levy as public relations chief for the Chrysler group in January 2004. Levy worked as a public relations consultant in New York City until now.
AutoCom's client roster includes the Automotive Industry Action Group, GKN Driveline, Hella North America and Kolbenschmidt Pierburg.
