Robert Bosch Chairman Franz Fehrenbach and PSA/Peugeot-Citroen’s new purchasing chief, Jean-Philippe Collin, will address the ninth annual Automotive News Europe Congress in May.
Volker Barth, president of Delphi Europe, and Trevor Finn, CEO of British dealer group Pendragon, also will be speaking at the event, which takes place May 4-6 in Barcelona.
In a series of addresses and panel discussions, participants will look at the future of car production in western Europe, Asian carmakers’ growing presence in the region and the industrywide quest for higher quality at ever lower costs. Fiat Auto CEO Herbert Demel will be a keynote speaker.
The Spanish Grand Prix will immediately follow the Congress – qualifying is set to start on May 7. Tickets are available. And there will be a special pre-opening tour of the Barcelona auto show on Friday, May 6.
The Congress starts on Wednesday, May 4, with an optional VIP tour of the Seat assembly plant in Martorell, Spain, followed that evening by a cocktail reception.
The Congress ends with lunch on Friday.
