DETROIT -- Ford Motor Co. has appointed John Felice president of Ford Thailand. Felice, 43, had been executive director of Ford Asia Pacific and Africa marketing, sales and service since 2002. He succeeds Chatchai Bunnag, who retired Oct. 1 but will stay through March to help with the transition.
Felice, who had worked in truck marketing in the United States before going to Thailand, will seek increased exports from that country. He also will help oversee the expansion of Ford's Thai assembly plant. Ford is investing $500 million to expand capacity from 135,000 vehicles to 200,000 annually.
