All five Toyota Division sport-utility vehicles and sport wagons will receive standard traction control and ABS systems for the 2005 model year.
Toyota's "Star Safety System" features vehicle stability control and traction control, as well as anti-lock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution and brake assist.
The features will be standard on the RAV4, Highlander, 4Runner, Sequoia and Land Cruiser.
In addition, the Sequoia and 4Runner 4.7-liter V-8 engines will receive horsepower boosts, the Sequoia going from 240 up to 282 horsepower, while the 4Runner will increase from 235 to 270 horsepower.
