TOKYO -- Honda will introduce a redesigned Legend with all-wheel-drive in Europe in 2006.
A newly developed awd system combines front-rear torque distribution control with independently regulated torque distribution to both rear wheels. Honda expects to sell 2,000 units a year in Europe. The 300hp 3.5-liter V-6 Legend will compete against the BMW 530i and 545i and Mercedes E320.
This month, Honda launched the car as the Honda Legend in Japan and the Acura RL in the US.
