Ford Motor Co. on Monday named Malcolm Macdonald its new vice president of finance, and promoted assistant treasurer Ann Marie Petach to Malcolm's position as vice president and treasurer.
The automaker also said that Peter Daniel, controller for The Americas, will become vice president and COO of Ford Asia-Pacific and Africa. He will report to Mark Schulz, president of the automaker's Asia-Pacific and Africa operations.
The appointments take effect Nov. 1.
Macdonald, 64, who joined Ford of Britain as a finance trainee in 1959, will continue to oversee the treasurer's office. He also will continue to report to CFO Don Leclair.
Petach, 44, a 20-year Ford employee, has worked in finance and management positions in the United States, Brazil and Portugal.
Daniel, 57, who joined Ford in 1971, has previously worked in Ford's Asia-Pacific operations, including roles in Taiwan, Australia and Malaysia. In his new position, Daniel will have direct day-to-day responsibility for Ford's activities in the ASEAN, Australia, New Zealand, India and Africa markets.
