By 2008, General Motors may consolidate the production of two European assembly plants that make mid-sized cars, GM Europe Chairman Fritz Henderson said.
Henderson will evaluate Saab's Trollhattan, Sweden, plant as well as the Opel plant in Rüsselsheim, Germany. He will make a decision at the end of November.
"It does not mean a plant will close," Henderson said. "We could allocate other products to that plant."
