Jaguar North America said Tuesday it will sell three additional versions of its 2005 X-Type. The company is offering the new X-Type sport, sport wagon and VDP editions in addition to its standard 2.5 and 3.0-liter V6 X-Type sedan.
The sport wagon version price begins at $36,995. It has a tailgate with a rear opening window, luggage tie downs in the rear load area and hidden storage compartments with a 12-volt power supply and detachable side storage doors.
The X-Type sport pricing starts at $37,945 and has a 3.0-liter V-6 engine, sport-tuned suspension, alloy wheels, performance tires, trunk lid spoiler, and a five speed manual transmission as a no-cost option.
The VDP edition prices start at $38,745. It includes rain-sensing wipers, burl walnut veneer trim, a navigation system, and a 320 watt Alpine Premium sound system.
All models include a 3.0-liter V-6 engine. All prices include a $665 destination fee.
The VDP edition will arrive in showrooms in October. The other two models should be available in November, Jaguar said.
