In the wake of Hurricane Charley, the Florida Auto Dealers Association has started a laudable effort to take care of its own.
The association says dealership employees in the 25 counties hit by Charley have lost homes. Some also have lost paychecks as devastated dealerships rebuild.
The group donated $100,000 to a charitable fund and is seeking donations. The fund is being run through the National Automobile Dealers Association Charitable Foundation. Tax-deductible donations can be made by check to: NADCF, 8400 West Park Drive, McLean VA 22102, with a footnote specifying that funds go to the FADA Employee Relief Fund.
