It's not even Labor Day yet but many industry insiders already are thinking about the Paris auto show, which is still three weeks away.
And the early buzz in Europe is that one of the sexiest new production vehicles to be unveiled in the City of Light will be the Ferrari F430 Monza.
The two-seat coupe with an aluminum body and new V-8 engine is expected to cost the equivalent of about $150,000 when it goes on sale in Europe later this year. That's a little pricey for most motorists, but it's as close to Everyman's car as any Ferrari ever gets.
The F430 Monza is an important vehicle for Ferrari because it will account for about three-quarters of the company's production, according to a report in Automotive News Europe.
Even so, that's still only about 3,300 cars a year.
