Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Renault
Thierry Moulonguet was one of the first Renault executives, along with Carlos Ghosn, to move to Japan in 1999 to help turn around nearly bankrupt new alliance partner Nissan.
When he returned to Renault in Paris last year, the Japanese brand had become a key contributor to Renault's overall success.
A strong believer in corporate governance, Moulonguet is aware of the risks involved in running a multinational company. About those risks, he says: "What's needed is to see them clearly and, insofar as we can do anything, take appropriate preventive action."
With Renault just having lifted its 2004 earnings forecast, Moulonguet is clearly on the right track.
