Tower Automotive will build a new automotive body structures plant in Duisburg, Germany.
The company has made an initial investment of E15 million for the factory that will initially employ 50 people.
The plant will supply body structures for Mercedes-Benz factories in Düsseldorf and Ludwigsfelde for the Mercedes Sprinter light commercial vehicle.
The plant is scheduled to begin production in November 2005.
Tower Automotive hopes to expand the new facility to eventually employ more than 350 people as part of its global growth strategy.
