LOS ANGELES -- California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger settled his lawsuit against an Ohio dealership that he alleged had made unauthorized use of his name and photograph in newspaper advertisements.
Under the settlement announced Friday, Aug. 20, Fred Martin Motor Co. of Akron will pay an undisclosed sum to Arnold's All-Stars, a program Schwarzenegger founded to combat drug abuse and gang membership among inner-city youths.
Schwarzenegger sued the dealership for $20 million in 2002. The store published ads using photos of Schwarzenegger in his movie role as The Terminator.
