FRANKFURT - German automotive supplier Continental AG will supply stability control systems for five Ford Motor Co. SUVs.
Continental Teves' AdvanceTrac electronic stability program and Roll Stability Control will be standard equipment on the 2005 Ford Explorer, Mercury Mountaineer, and Lincoln Navigator and Aviator, Reuters said.
The 2005 Ford Expedition will offer both systems as an optional feature.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Continental of Frankfurt, supplies electronic brakes, stability management systems, tires and chassis systems.
