TOLEDO, Ohio -- Dana Corp. posted net income of $222 million last year, up from a loss of $182 million in 2002.
The Toledo, Ohio, supplier reported sales of $10.1 billion in 2003, down from $10.3 billion the previous year. Last year's sales included Dana's automotive aftermarket business, which the company announced in December that it will discontinue.
In the quarter that ended Dec. 31, Dana's net income was $68 million, compared with a loss of $9 million in the same period the previous year. Sales for the fourth quarter were $2.5 billion, up from $2.4 billion in the 2002 period.
