FRANKFURT (Reuters) -- DaimlerChrysler AG said Thursday that it had not decided on its dividend proposal for 2003.
The statement followed a report by German news agency VWD, which quoted supervisory board sources as saying an unchanged dividend of 1.50 euros ($1.86) was likely.
"We have as yet made no decision on the dividend for 2003," said a DaimlerChrysler spokesman.
The company is due to announce its dividend proposal Wednesday, when it will also publish key profit figures for 2003. As reported by Reuters, many analysts expect the group to hold its 2003 dividend steady at 1.50 euros as cash flow remained healthy last year.
