U.S. car production was down 14.7 percent; Canadian car production decreased 1.6 percent; Mexican car production was down 24.0 percent; and North American car production fell 14.5 percent.
U.S. truck production rose 0.6 percent; Canadian truck production was up 2.2 percent; Mexican truck production was down 8.1 percent; and North American truck production declined 0.2 percent. It was the largest July for both U.S. and Canada truck production. The previous best July was in 2002, when 429,738 U.S. trucks and 56,077 Canadian trucks were produced.
U.S. car and truck production was down 5.9 percent; Canadian car and truck production fell 0.1 percent; and Mexican car and truck production was down 18.2 percent.
