DETROIT -- Delphi Corp. has gained $1.5 billion worth of supply contracts for its commercial vehicles business unit. The amount exceeds the unit's goal for the year.
Much of the new business has come from the Asia-Pacific region, says Greg Kochendorfer, global director for commercial vehicles for Delphi, of Troy, Mich.
The contracts cover components such as diesel fuel injectors and electronic control units, safety systems and climate control.
Delphi is the world's largest auto supplier, with products that include chassis and powertrain components, climate control and audio systems, and safety systems.
